Faithful is the one who has called you, and who brings His Word to come to pass, our Lord Jesus. Yes, He is faithful and well able to meet all our needs. Life comes with many mountains and valleys, and all of us travel through them. However, Jesus says that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). He is always right at our side to help us on our journey. We go through various seasons in our lives; some are good, some are indifferent, and some are downright bad. Each of these seasons has signs and events that reveal what the season is all about. Consider the four seasons that make up our natural calendars: spring, summer, autumn and winter. We know the signs that accompany each of these seasons and how to prepare.
Spiritual seasons may not be as easy to discern for many, and this can prove to be problematic. If you are not prepared for a season, it can cause you harm, damage or great stress, which is fear. In the natural, you can count on your senses to discern the seasons. In the spiritual, you must count on your relationship with God and the knowledge of His Word. Everything that takes place in the spiritual realm will have an effect in our natural realm. To make this life easier in difficult seasons, we must rely on our spirit man. We are a three-part being, just like the Father—we were created in His image (Gen. 1:27). We are a spirit like God, we have a soul, and we live in a body. When we are under attack, the adversary cannot get to our spirit man, so the manifestation either comes in the natural through our soul (our mind, will and emotions) or our body. The manifestations through our soul can be offense, worry, fear, or any other emotion or demonic influence that does not originate from the Word of God.
Spiritual attacks also manifest as sickness in the body. They could start in the soul and move over to the body, but they can also just attack your body. Your emotions can lead you to a host of physical problems such as depression, phobias, and addictions; in a broader sense, they can lead to family and relationship problems, legal problems, etc.
Spiritual attacks must be handled by the spirit man, and not just any spirit man, but the born-again spirit man. If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your spirit man is dead and can do nothing to truly help you in this life. If you have just been born again, you are like a little baby who is not yet skilled in the things of God (I Pet. 2:2), which makes you vulnerable like a child. You will need the Body of Christ (the Church) to help you mature and become skillful with the spiritual things of God:
It was He who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, toequip the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God—a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature. So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes. Ephesians 4:11-14, NET
You must be born again! It is at that time when the Spirit of God moves into your spirit and makes it alive unto God. You must renew your mind to God’s Word so that you can develop a relationship with the Father. The Word of God can then be revealed to you because the natural mind cannot understand the spiritual side of the Scriptures—it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal the Word to you.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8
From this point, you have everything in you to overcome whatever the world throws at you. This is because of your faith.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. I John 5:4-5
You no longer have to be moved by the way you feel or by what you see. You can be moved by faith in what God has said. No money, health or relationship problem can destroy or distress you. When you know what God has said, and you trust in Him fully, then He is faithful to bring His Word to pass! And the promises of God are YES and AMEN! (II Cor. 1:20).
We are in the season of the End Time, and many people have not been born again. Or maybe they are born again but do not know about the precious promises of God that will help them through life’s seasons. This is why I preach the Gospel . . . to let people know there is hope and help.
We have many meetings coming up for the second half of the year, praise God, and we are believing God for the finances to get us to where we have been called. There may be someone there who is in a season of hopelessness and despair. It could be your prayers and support that reveal the plan and love of God to them, so thank you for both.
