Today we have conformation of the prophecy of Ezekiel being fulfilled. The relationship of Russia and Iran is one that moves us forward on God’s timetable.
I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Ezekiel 38:4-5
Russia was known in Ezekiel’s time as Magog, just as Iran was know as Persia. Today these two nations have deepened their military activities together. Russia has launched bombers from an Iranian airbase to bomb targets in Syrian. This is unheard of considering Iran’s isolationism somewhat from the world.
The hooks are in Russia’s jaws. They have been drawn by God into the Middle-East and will not be leaving until after the Rapture of the Church. They are there all for military purposes “all your army….buckles and shields, all of them handling swords.” This is huge for Bible prophecy for it confirms Jesus is coming soon.
