Abundant Life for You!!!

May 9, 2025 by Dwayne Byerly Leave a Comment

Greetings in the name of Jesus, who died to give you the abundant life!  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (John 10:10-11).  You see, Jesus gave us a gift by becoming poor, literally dying so you could be rich.

For you know the grace [gift] of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.—2 Corinthians 8:9

Don’t let others confuse you.  A rich and abundant life does not solely refer to money, although that can be a part of it. If you are healthy and able to enjoy life, that is indeed a form of wealth.  This is why Jesus endured the 39 lashes from the Roman soldier—it was for your healing.  As it is written:  “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

If you have people who love and care about you, you are truly rich.  Many people lack anyone to check on them or turn to for help and comfort.  On the Cross, Jesus cried out to the Father, “Why have you forsaken me?” While many believe He was quoting Psalm 22:1 in that moment, it’s clear that He must have felt abandoned and alone for that Scripture to come out of His heart.  Even His followers had mostly fled during this time.  The Father had to forsake Jesus because He became sin for us. God the Father cannot be in the presence of sin, which required Him to separate Himself from Jesus.

Riches has little to do with money.  You could be dying from a disease, and no amount of money in the world can save you.  However, Jesus can! He is the great physician. In Mark chapter 5, you can read about a woman who had been suffering from an issue of blood for twelve years.  She spent all her money on doctors but found no relief.  Yet, she was restored when she acted on her faith in what she had heard and believed about Jesus.

Learning how to act with faith requires spending time with Jesus, who is the Word.  So many fail to do this, so when the thief comes to destroy them, their faith lacks the strength to withstand the attack, and there is not enough time to build it up.  They know God is able, but they cannot figure out why their faith is “not working.”  The unfortunate yet straightforward answer is that a lack of knowledge leads to weak faith.

Another biblical account is about the crippled man in John chapter 5 who had no friends at the pool of Bethesda.  At this pool, an angel would come to stir the waters, and the first person to enter the pool would be healed. This man lay there for thirty-eight years without anyone to help him into the pool.  You can have all the money in the world, but if no one is there to assist you, you will never achieve what you need.  Jesus ultimately healed this man, reassuring us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. So, my friend, true riches is not about money.

True riches come from knowing and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. From there, getting to know Him well is essential to understand the principles of the Kingdom of God and how to live in this world, including receiving healing by trusting in Him and His Word.  All of God’s promises primarily hinge on the great commandments to love God and others (Matt. 22:37-40).  While this is easy to understand in our minds, living it out is advanced Christianity.  You will need help from the Holy Spirit to do this and receive true understanding.  Praise God!  He is always willing to help, as this is His primary assignment on earth.  The Holy Spirit is the One called alongside YOU and sheds the love of God abroad in your heart (Rom. 5:5).

We must hear and obey.  There are several ways to hear from God:

First, by hearing the Word of God preached from the Bible through the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.  This helps us grow in the knowledge of faith and become mature Christians who can walk in love (Eph. 4:11-16).  Second, read the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.  And third, by talking with God and waiting for Him to answer.  This is advanced, as I said, and you have to start where you are before the enemy advances on you and overcomes you for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).  Remember, God will not withhold any good thing from you if you seek Him (Ps. 84:11).

Even in matters of financial prosperity, the Kingdom of God has a specific way of operating.  Understanding the biblical principles of prosperity and how to act in faith can significantly impact your pocketbook.  You have to know His Word to have faith in His Word.  Once you know His Word, you can act upon it and believe it is true, just as He has said:

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.  —Luke 6:38

Don’t be misled; remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it: a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows! If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him. And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up. That’s why whenever we can we should always be kind to everyone, and especially to our Christian brothers.  —Galatians 6:7-10, TLB

If sickness or disease is trying to latch onto you, you need to latch onto the Word and the things of God like a bulldog latches onto a bone!  Take the time to dig deep and find the healing Scriptures, as they bring life to all your flesh (Prov. 4:20).  You have to allow the Holy Spirit to live and have His way in your life; when you do, He makes alive your mortal body (Rom. 8:11).  I’m here as your friend to help you dive into healing. Don’t cling to the edge—let go and leap in completely before it’s too late.

If you want to take action based on the financial principles discussed in this letter, there is an opportunity for you to do so regarding our upcoming trip to Europe next month.  Michelle and I will be going to assist Jerry Savelle’s daughter, Terri Savelle Foy, with her ICING Women’s Conference in Paris on June 27-28.  This conference aims to equip women with the tools to succeed by utilizing principles from the Word of God.  It will also encourage them that they, like you, can overcome by making adjustments that align with the Word.

After the conference, I will be ministering at Builders of the City Church with Pastor Celeste Gnassounou.  My aim is to strengthen their faith in the power of God’s Word, especially in these Last Days. Jesus is coming soon, and there is important work to be done. You can be a part of changing someone’s life.  If you can’t go, you can sow.  God will honor that.  Isn’t it wonderful when God honors you?

We believe that when God opens a door, we have to be obedient and do what it takes to walk through it.  Our budget exceeds $5,000, and we are applying the principles outlined in this letter, trusting that help will come in Jesus’ Name!  No gift is too small or too large; every dollar will be used for the Kingdom of God.  I can achieve more with the support of believers like you who are obedient to God’s Word.  We sincerely appreciate your prayers and financial partnership.  I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I am honored that you trust me to act on your behalf for the Lord Jesus.

There are many ways to sow:  PayPal @pnp7, CashApp $4pnp, Venmo @pnp4god, through our website, or dropping a check in the mail (no fees).  Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

I pray for you and call you blessed, healed, whole, and prosperous!  Until next time, remember . . . Jesus is coming soon!  Be ready!

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Born Again?

You must be born again to go to heaven. Jesus said “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." To do this all you have to do is call on the name of Jesus. When you BELIEVE in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you will experience the new birth.
