Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus, the Ruler of heaven and earth. We are just days away from a presidential election here in the United States, and I was asked today how I thought it was going to go. From what I see happening with Israel, as they continue to approach the peace prophesied in Ezekiel chapter 38, I foresee an administration more friendly to Israel.
According to Scripture, when Israel attains this peace, it triggers a divine intervention. God instills in the mind of Russia to attack in an attempt to overtake Israel for its goods (Ezek. 38:16). In this moment, God’s wrath is unleashed to protect Israel. Simultaneously, God also calls for a sword among his mountains to ensure the defense of Israel.
“I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.” —Ezekiel 38:21
The book of Daniel reveals “mountains” as kingdoms or nations (Dan. 2:35, 44). Since God claims these kingdoms belong to Him (“My”), we realize they are all allied with Israel. A sword is an implement of war; however, these kingdoms will not have a chance to use their weaponry against Russia and its allies. God‘s wrath takes care of everything with one swift swoop.
Scripture reveals the allies (kingdoms) of God as Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions (Ezek. 38:13). Sheba and Dedan are Middle Eastern countries at peace with Israel. To determine the countries that comprise “the merchants of Tarshish,” we must look at the history and trajectory of those nations. In doing so, we discover that these merchants became what is known as the Common Market of Europe and are today known as the European Union.
The only kingdom that can be recognized as a “lion” with its vast territories is Britain. This country’s emblem is, indeed, a lion. Her offspring, the “young lions,” are nations such as Australia, South Africa, Singapore, and Canada. The youngest nation of Britain’s offspring is none other than the United States of America. How do we explain the U.S. dominance among nations since we are the youngest?
In the natural, a group of lions is called a pride, and the strong, young lion always leads the pride. It is not the old, mature lion who leads, representing Britain in this case. The “young lions” reference is one place where we find the United States in Bible prophecy.
Currently, God is preparing Israel, Russia, and all the Middle Eastern countries for these events. As Christians and students of God’s Word, we can easily say, “Set the table, supper is almost ready!” When it comes to the United States of America, God is preparing it for these events also, which includes a U.S. administration that stands strong beside Israel; so strong, in fact, that they are willing to use their military at the drop of a hat. Such is not the administration we have right now. The current administration has tried to limit Israel’s response to Iranian attacks, not realizing they set themselves against the plan of God when doing so.
Further, under the current administration, the economy has not done well. Fuel prices are higher, groceries have skyrocketed, and so have the prices of almost everything else. This doesn’t coincide with Jesus’ description of the economy of our time. According to Luke 17:26-30, I see a prosperous time ahead: People buying, selling, building, planting, celebrating, eating, and drinking right up to the appearing of Jesus in the clouds to catch away His Church. This miraculous event will happen soon and very soon. He is standing in the doorway. Are you ready and earnestly seeking a closer relationship with Jesus and His Church? Because the time is near . . . we are on our way to heaven, and you don’t want to be left behind. Most importantly, tell others about our soon-coming King and how they can be prepared by recognizing the signs of the times. We are in the final season.
Michelle and I love you, pray for you, and hope you and your loved ones have a blessed Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for your prayers and financial support as we continue to thrust in the sickle for the End-Time Harvest (Rev. 14:15). May the Lord our God make you a thousand times greater than you already are (Deut. 1:11).
