Greetings in the name of the Lord of harvest, Jesus Christ. Once again the weather is getting cooler here in Middle Tennessee. Autumn is here along with harvest time; the last crop of fruits and vegetables are becoming ripe. I’ll soon be missing the great tomatoes and peaches that I’ve been purchasing at my local vegetable stand.
—Matt. 24:46
Jesus’ soon appearing is closer now than ever before. Here in Matthew, we find that the servant who is “doing” is a servant who is blessed and subsequently caught away. Along with our soul winning, which Proverbs 11:30 tells us makes us wise, we must be looking for the appearing of Jesus. A failure to do either of these is a failure to discern the signs of the times. According to Jesus, that not only makes you a hypocrite, but could cause you to miss your time of visitation–the Rapture!
You may have heard in the media about the remake of the movie, Left Behind. Now, I have not seen this movie so I cannot attest to how scriptural it may or may not be. However, the concept of being “left behind” at Jesus’ appearing and subsequent Rapture is not just a movie or fictitious book based on biblical facts. It is a genuine condition that some Christians will find themselves in after the Church is caught up to Jesus. Improper teaching about the grace of God has left a multitude of believers thinking they are Rapture ready. This is not the case! Remember Jesus’ Words in Matthew:
“I never knew you” refers to Jesus not being responsible for their condition. Just as Joseph knew not Mary and was not responsible for her being with child, Jesus does not know these believers. In other words, Jesus did not have an intimate relationship with them. It is your relationship with Jesus Christ that makes you Rapture Ready!
Remember Enoch who walked and talked with God daily, and then God took him? He was raptured. It was a faith-full relationship with God that got him caught up.
It’s your intimacy with the Father that makes you eligible for the catching away. It’s not your works or following of the law, even though intimacy with God will cause you to have good works and follow the law because of your love for Him. It’s your relationship with Him, including worship and honor, which puts you in the secret place under His wings.
Evil and darkness will loom over this earth, which includes the town you live in, maybe even your home. However, we can be the glorious Church—the light that shines in the darkness—if we make our place of dwelling “the secret place.” Then, even though darkness and evil surround us, we shall overcome because light always overpowers darkness. When you read the book of Revelation chapters 2 and 3, you realize it is the overcomers that are caught up and receive the rewards as members of the Body of Christ. How do you get to the secret place? It is simple, but you must make the effort to get there. Spend much quality time with the Father and let Him know how much you love Him, appreciate Him, believe in Him, trust in Him, respect Him, and talk with Him as if He were responsible for all the good in your life, BECAUSE HE IS! Praise God!!
I was in Richmond, Virginia at beginning of this month to perform a wedding. Did you know the Holy Spirit can manifest in weddings? He did, and it was awesome! There was an impartation of anointing from two couples who had a combined 105 years of marriage. The anointing to be a husband and wife was imparted into the newlyweds by the laying on of hands. What a celebration!
The tremendous flow of the Spirit continued into the next day at Kingdom Pursuers Ministries. The alter filled up with people making rededications to our Lord and Savior. Healings and prophetic words went forth. This is truly the time for the glorious Church. I pray each of you will be an active part of this End-Time anointing.I deeply appreciate your prayers and financial support for my part in Jesus’ ministry. You are an important part of me being fully equipped to minister the Gospel and help bring in the harvest of souls in theses End Times. We speak blessings and increase in all areas of your life in Jesus’ name.
