Greetings in the name of the Lord of Hosts, Jesus. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for in these End Times, particularly in this country—mainly because of Jesus, whose birth we celebrate this month. Jesus was the gift given by the heavenly Father to all mankind so that we could have peace on earth and enjoy the goodwill of the Father. You may say, “Where is this peace? I see wars and rumors of wars all around, just as Jesus prophesied.” This is correct; however, we must remember that these events allow you to know that the Bible is true. Also, as believers, we can have peace amid all the worldly chaos.
The Father’s gift was a very intimate one. He gave his very Son, His life, and the gift is for you and me. Jesus was given for your peace so you could experience the goodwill and love the Father has for you. Yes, worldwide peace is prophesied, but not until Jesus’ second coming. Jesus’ first coming was for you. If you are not living in this peace that surpasses all understanding, it is most likely because of your lack of knowledge of how the gift works. For instance, I have an iPhone that has more capabilities than I understand to utilize. I will probably never unlock its full capabilities. Consider this:
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. —Ephesians 3:20
Notice this verse says the power is in us, and it works. We are not looking for Jesus to do something, but rather, we need to know WHAT to do with Jesus. We have the power to live in the love of God where nothing terrible or tormenting resides. The more time I spend with my iPhone, the better I learn how it operates.
Sure, I make mistakes and can cause problems with operator error; however, if my attempts cause the system to become corrupted, I can always start over with the factory reset. That is just like Jesus. No matter what you do, if you humble yourself and repent, you may turn back to Jesus for a reset. Once again, you can enjoy the fullness of His peace and spend more time with Him, which means in His Word, His Spirit, and His people. Yes, His people! Go to church! If we consider ourselves Christians and members of the Body of Christ, the Head (Jesus) is not to be separated from the body or the other members. Within the body can lie the parts of the gift we need for our peace and blessing from God.
And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. —Hebrews 10:24-25, AMPC
I’m urging and encouraging you to get to church this Christmas and do not let it be the only time you go. Jesus is your example, and it was His custom to be found in the house of worship (Luke 4:16). I am also warning you . . . these are perilous times, and where you dwell and what you make your custom is important!
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. —Psalm 91:1-4, AMPC
This psalm is the greatest one of protection and promise; however, it is conditional. It is for HE WHO DWELLS! Remember, you must know how the gift operates. I need to know more, and I want to learn more about Jesus, which is the greatest gift to mankind. By the Holy Spirit, we have the power within us to know and operate the gift.
As always, Michelle and I pray for you and are so appreciative of your prayers and financial support for this part of Jesus’ ministry. We pray for you and desire you receive all the blessings Jesus died for you to have. Live in peace and the goodwill of your Creator.
We Wish You a Very Merry Christmas!
Enjoy celebrating Jesus first coming, looking for His next!
Soon, and VERY Soon! Be Ready!
