Greetings in the majestic name of the Lord God who healeth thee, Jesus Christ. Not only is He the God who heals you, but He is also the God that provides a way for you to walk in divine healing. If there is one thing we all need in these Last Days, it is the strength and energy that comes from wholeness.
We want to be a partaker of His divine nature because within this nature is total shalom, peace or wholeness. Jesus was never sick, and He never had a broken bone. We are flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. Since Jesus took our sickness, sorrows, grief, and afflictions on the cross and by His stripes, why would we want any of them back? In these Last Days, we have many opportunities to be sick. Jesus said it would be this way. It is one of the signs of His soon appearing.
“And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” (Luke 21:11).
A “pestilence” is defined by Noah Webster as “any contagious or infectious disease that is epidemic and mortal (deadly),” and “corruption or moral disease destructive to happiness.” Well, there is no question where pestilence comes from; it comes from the taker of life and happiness, which is the kingdom of darkness. Jesus knew this attack of the enemy would become greater at the end of the age because Satan’s time would grow short.
People are overcome by deep darkness. You cannot see what is in the dark, and when you don’t know what is around you, you can get hurt. Only light dispels darkness, and light comes from spending time with Jesus, the Word of God. People’s lack of knowledge of the Word is the reason they perish. We who have this knowledge are responsible for sharing it with those who do not. That is why the Church should be known as the light of the world.
“Ebola” is the latest pestilence, and it is in the news every day it seems. It has created so much fear among people, and with fear comes torment. We saw this same fear with AIDS a couple of decades back, which was pretty much only a sexually transmitted disease among Sodomites.
However, everyone who comes in contact with Ebola seems to be susceptible to it. Cancer is a much more prominent affliction. In fact, the National Cancer Society reports that 1 out of 3 people will have some form of cancer in their lifetime.
These are all pestilences (deadly diseases) that Jesus said we would face, and there may be more to come. But, let not your heart be troubled! As born again, Bible-believing Christians, we have exceedingly great and precious promises! Even before the first coming of Jesus (by whose stripes you WERE healed), God the Father, through Moses, said that if you diligently obey His Words, you would be blessed (Deut. 28:1-2). There is no sickness in the blessing!
Yet, if you put yourself under the curse by disobedience, He said that all the diseases of Egypt, even every sickness and plague, which is not written in the Book of the Law, could come upon you (Deut. 28:60-61). Not all sickness comes from disobedience, but disobedience will open the door.
Now, here is the promise: If we walk in the blessing, walk in the light, walk in the Spirit, abide under the shadow of the Almighty, or whichever way you want to describe an intimate relationship with God, you shall not be afraid for the pestilence that walks in darkness. A thousand shall fall on one side and ten thousand on the other, but it shall not come near you! Have you read this somewhere before?
Let me give you a direct quote, “Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” That is your promise, child of God! Straight from Psalms 91—healing and divine nature is yours!
It is your reasonable service to tell others about healing and the divine nature of God. Wherever I go to minister, I preach, teach, and heal the sick. This was one of the main emphases of my father in the faith, Dr. Hilton Sutton, in his last messages to the Church. He had recently defeated stage four colon cancer with the Word and Spirit of God. He saw by the same Word and Spirit the great significance of ministering to the sick in these End Times due to the pestilences that would face the world.
You are part of Jesus’ ministry, and according to Matthew 4:23, that assignment includes ministering healing to the sick. When doing so, pray in faith, and do not be moved by what you see—only believe that they are healed!
We had a great meeting at Kingdom Pursers in Richmond, Virginia. There were many rededications, healings and prophetic words. The Holy Spirit was gracious and had His way in the service. Praise God!
As always, Michelle and I appreciate your prayers and financial support for this part of Jesus’ ministry. They indeed make a difference and are received and heard by the Father. Be praying for new ministry assignments. We want to go where God sends us. We, like you, are ALWAYS in the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME!
Please share this with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and other social sites. Until next time, we call you blessed, healed and whole! Remember, Jesus is coming soon!
in the End-Time Harvest,
Rev. Dwayne Byerly
