Greetings in the majestic name of our Lord Jesus—the One who sets up leaders and takes leaders down. What exciting times we are living in today; however, they may not be too exciting to you if you do not have the proper understanding of Bible Prophecy. Your view of the world around you is molded by what you allow to influence you.
So many people have been entrapped with concern over this year’s unbelievable presidential election. Hopefully, by the time you read this letter, the results will have been decided. Whether or not your candidate won, concerns may set in as to what will become of our nation, or how it will affect you. This concern is nothing but fear!
During these End Times, fear will be at an all-time high. Even if it is merely a concern, it is still something that seems out of your control. Without a proper understanding of what is coming ahead, that small concern, unchecked, can grow into an oppressing fear that can paralyze you spiritually, and even physically.
Although fear is always present and ready to oppress you if you allow it, also present is FAITH. You have a free choice as to which you will allow to affect your manner of living. Faith in anything other than what the Word of God says will be a disappointment to you and leave you void of the abundant life. This faith only comes from God’s Holy Word.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
—Romans 10:17
Nowhere in Scripture do you find faith coming from any other source than as described above. If there is something lacking in your life, it is because of not hearing God’s Word concerning your situation, therefore, causing a lack of faith in that area. Through His Word, He speaks encouragement, reassurance, love, tenderness, protection, provision, and the list goes on and on. The most important of these is love because Love is who He is! He is a loving Father who wants the very, very best for His children. Always!
This is why Bible Prophecy is so important and why the Father puts so much of it in His Book. Bible Prophecy is the looking glass into the future—ours and the worlds. Now, we may see through that glass darkly—not quite being able to make out all the details—however, we see enough to know our God has a plan for each of us.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
—Jeremiah 29:11
This is what the Word God has for us as His children: PEACE! We should not have concern for the worldly aspects of life. Those cares should be cast onto Him, and then our focus should be on how he handles circumstance for us and through us. Our heavenly Father will navigate us through all the world’s mazes and concerns by His Word and Spirit, by faith.
Remember, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should have everlasting life (John 3:16). Wow! That includes everybody! We understand that not everyone has accepted this great and precious gift. This is why there are loving warnings in the Scripture for them. These prophecies may seem like doom and gloom, but they are the Father crying out to His children, “Don’t put your hand in the fire! NOOO!”
God the Father warns the disobedient children about what lies ahead and gives them ample time and a strong warning to repent. It’s not doom and gloom, but a shout from heaven about how not to get burned. The prophecies of the majestic book of Revelation, for instance, speak about waters being polluted with blood, massive, never-before-seen earthquakes, locusts with a sting that creates sores so dreadful you want to die but can’t (death takes a holiday). Not to mention the death of men by war and other atrocities of men that make today’s terrorism look like playground games.
These things will happen; HOWEVER, God has prophesied the way to avoid it all! How? Through our mighty Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev. 19:16).
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” —Luke 21:36
See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven.
—Hebrews 12:25
Wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
—I Thessalonians 1:10
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”
—Revelation 3:10
It has never been God’s plan for His people to suffer His wrath (Nahum 1:2). So, rejoice if you are born again and washed in the blood of Jesus. You only have to walk by faith and not by sight (II Cor. 5:7). The events going on around you should not cause you fear because you are part of God’s master plan. He knows who our leaders will be, and He puts them in office to achieve His plan (Dan. 2:21).
Through it all, we have a role to play, which is to focus on Him and to be a light to the rest of the world. By doing so, we have the promise of divine provision. The days in which we are currently living are BIBLE DAYS, and it is an exciting time to behold.
Thank you for all of your financial support and prayers. We call you blessed, healed and whole. And remember . . . Jesus is coming soon!
