Recently Russia has announced that they will be selling anti-aircraft weapons to Iran. Russia has been an ally of Iran, however, now we see the alliance growing stronger. The events play out in the news today as they were written in the Scriptures thousands of years ago. Let’s look at the identity of these nations in the Word.
“Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, “Thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. Ezekiel 38:2-3
The land of Magog, Rosh, Meshech and Tubal when researching ancient geography has been found to be Russia. Gog is the leader of this land and would currently be Vladimir Putin. As you continue in Ezekiel chapter 38 you find a list of allies who aligned themselves with Russia.
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you Ezekiel 38:5-6
The very first ally mentioned is Persia which was known as Persia until the 1930s. Now it is known as Iran. This relationship of Iran and Russia is becoming more intimate with the disregard of other world leaders by Putin. He is giving his blessing to Iran in their continued quest for Islamic world domination.
This is why the Heavenly Father is against Gog of Magog (Putin). The demonic religion of Islam has enslaved millions of people, and in it’s deception portrays Allah as God the Father. The Father is love. In the total writings of the Koran, you cannot find anywhere that states Allah loves you.
It is a smack in the face to the Father that Satan would convince people to serve Allah who does not love them — calling for people to give their own life for the god of Islam while thinking the entire time they are serving the God of heaven. The true God gave His only begotten Son for the people of the world because of His love for them.
So as we see this alliance strengthen, we know that the return of Jesus is soon. Prepare your innermost self to meet the Lord. He’s coming, and your true feelings about Him and His Word will mean everything when you stand before Him.
