Greetings in the wonderful, omnipotent name of Jesus. We have had some great times of ministry in June and July and are looking forward to what God will be doing in the second half of this year. We were part of an awesome Holy Spirit Conference in Portland, Maine. Many lives were changed, and the Holy Spirit made impartations that will affect that area for years to come. We also ministered at the International Conference of Faith Ministries to ministers from all across the United States and the world about the Strength of Bible Prophecy. Its greatest strength is that it gives our Bible the legs to stand, proving that God’s Word is true and salvation is available through Christ Jesus.
We are in the End Times, the proof of which comes from Daniel 12:4: “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Knowledge today continues to increase at an incredible rate. Technology is one of the fastest-growing areas of all. Within this rapidly growing technology is artificial intelligence (AI). Even as I write this letter from my iPad, I am using voice translation to transcribe my voice to print. AI has advanced so much that now there are robots that can carry on a regular conversation in a normal voice.
Further, AI advancements can be seen in the medical field, wherein computers are connected to the human brain to make the body function. So, is there a future of cyborgs on our doorstep, which are half man-half machine and a computer?
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE—GOOD OR BAD?
AI technology has gone so far that I’ve actually heard an AI minister deliver a message in a Presbyterian Church in Europe. I’ve had robot servers bring me food in Alabama. Fast food restaurants now often only use touch-screen computers to order. Even home automation has been made available to almost everyone allowing you to turn lights on and off, control televisions, change the temperature on your thermostat, and even unlock the front door of your house—by just saying the command. Wow! On the other hand, this technology creates fear in many people.
We’ve always heard statements like, “Computers will rule the world,” and “Big Brother is watching you.” I say, enjoy the show. Maybe Big Brother will get saved and accept Jesus! Never let technological advances get your eyes off Jesus, the Word of God. When thinking about the world, keep this in mind.
The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.
—Psalm 115:16
Many Christians are unaware of this Scripture, leading them to think incorrectly. They say God is in control, and everything happens because He does it or allows it to happen. Quite the contrary. He has given mankind dominion on the earth, which was first decreed to Adam in Genesis 1:28: “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’” Satan took that dominion, but Jesus won it back through His death, burial, and resurrection.
Now we are in authority once again through Christ Jesus. So, be at peace and let not your heart be troubled. As long as the Body of Christ is here on the earth, no matter the advances in AI and technology, we will still have rule over this earth. I’m not saying these advances will not cause trouble in the future; however, nothing takes God by surprise, and He always makes a way of escape.
No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. —I Corinthians 10:13, MSG
The New King James Version says, “But with the temptation will also make the way of escape.” Changes throughout the ages have been for the good of mankind. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). Yet, evil men and seducers have grown worse at the same time. They deceive and continue to be deceived into twisting the good things of God to be used for evil (II Tim. 3:13). The devil always makes a counterfeit of God’s goodness and uses it in an attempt to usurp authority from Him. For example, consider the rainbow in today’s world and the phrase “love always wins.” Both taunt God by deceiving people that sin is okay, and it doesn’t matter what His Word says.
As technology advances, fear not and use it with all your might to promote the Gospel. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will certainly use AI and maybe more to make an image appear to come to life and call fire down from heaven (Rev. 13:13, 15). Their time has not yet come and cannot come until the Church is taken from the earth (II Thess. 2:6-8). The Antichrist spirit is working today more feverishly than ever to change the times and the seasons, but it cannot because only God can do that (Dan. 2:21).
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS GETTING DUMBER!
Recent articles about AI state the technology is getting dumber rather than smarter. It is also very common for it to lie, and we know who the father of lies is, Satan. Recently, two New York City lawyers made national news after filing a brief using six fictitious case laws that they received by asking an AI app. The app answered with “made up” lawsuits and nonexistent companies. These lawyers are now facing sanctions that will undoubtedly affect their legal careers. The same app, ChatGPT, is an AI application for your phone. Business Insider recently stated that scientists from U.C. Berkeley and Stanford found that it is becoming less smart as time goes on. The article also says that the only mystery is why?
I’ll tell you “why” straight from the Book. No one can change God’s timing for the seasons of the ages and the time of the Antichrist has not come: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons” (Dan. 2:20-21); “And now you know what is restraining [the Church], that he [the Antichrist] may be revealed in his own time” (II Thess. 2:6).
It’s not the time of the Antichrist, and you can’t change God’s timing for the seasons of the ages. He is simply slowing it down in His mercy so that more people can be saved and come to the knowledge of Jesus (II Peter 3:9). (So, I don’t believe there will be a cyborg army anytime soon.) This is where we come in, telling and showing others the love of Jesus. When we do, we hurry the day of His appearing. That’s our purpose—soul-winning. We are the Glorious Church, and we win souls.
You can help win souls by helping us preach the gospel. No gift is too large or small, and no prayer is too short. We can use as much of both as you can give. And when you give, God always gives back. A big thank you to all who support us in this part of Jesus’ ministry—we pray for you always.
Until next time remember . . . Jesus is coming soon! Be ready!
