Let not your heart be troubled, but be strengthened in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! WOW, what a day we live in! The Church Age is coming to an end. Antichrist spirits are ramping up their deception and wickedness. In our country, we have politicians who seem to turn a blind eye to evil. You may think it’s one party, or you may think it’s the other. However, I pray you go to the Word and the Holy Spirit for discernment. There is only good and evil. Evil will always use good intentions to reach its ultimate goal, which is bondage. Sometimes, those who are bound never see it coming, for they choose to live in ignorance of the Word.
Seducing spirits will always take advantage of a lack of knowledge. Today, they have brushed up on deception and are using their trickery to bind people and lead them further into darkness.
And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light; so it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as ministers of righteousness. [But] their end will correspond with their deeds.
—2 Corinthians 11:14-15, AMPC
These wicked antichrist spirits are emboldened today. With the removal of prayer from our educational systems, and with God, Jesus, and Christ-likeness being ridiculed and vanquished by society (for years now), the lack of knowledge in our communities today is vast. The importance of knowing there is a living God, who loves us, has been made to seem inconsequential; however, the consequences are dire: hell and eternal damnation.
These conditions allow evil spirits to pull out all the stops because they know their time is short. However, know this; those who are in close relationship with their God shall do amazing works.
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. —Daniel 11:32
Written thousands of years ago, we see Daniel revealing the day in which we currently live. But where are the great exploits? That is a question we must ask ourselves as individuals. It is every Christian’s responsibility for their relationship with God.
How can we expect to be strengthened, much less do great exploits, without being in close relationship with God? He is the Vine, and we are the branches; we can do nothing without Him.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” —John 15:5-6
Jesus doesn’t make it sound good for those not abiding in Him (those having their own way of living). Yet, those who are in a close relationship have supernatural potential to change things around them and walk through every tribulation the world can throw.
The word “know” means to have an intimate relationship, just as Mary knew not Joseph at the time of Jesus’ birth. This definition is also referenced with the ten virgins; the bridegroom didn’t let them enter the celebration because he didn’t “know” them (Matt. 25:12). Again, with those who merely give Jesus lip-service when professing to be disciples, He says, “I never knew you” (Matt. 7:23).
These are the days of the Glorious Church for which Jesus is returning. His anointing (presence) is in the earth for us today, and we must walk in that anointing. When we do, great and marvelous events will happen in our lives and for those with whom we come in contact. Today is the day! You are the one!
We have to be as bold with the promises of God as seducing spirits are being with their lies. Don’t be afraid to tell someone about Jesus and pray for them. Don’t be afraid to stand up for God’s Word and His righteousness. We are equipped for this year in the midst of COVID-19 and riotous protests. We can prosper, be in health, and proclaim the promises of God to the world around us. Don’t let your faith in His promises falter. Don’t let the world’s circumstances get your eyes off Jesus.
We are thankful to have you as partners in these times. As you can probably imagine, we have not had many speaking engagements this year, so honorariums have been equally affected. However, God is providing, and I believe they will increase! It’s your prayers and contributions that keep me going. I cannot thank you enough, and I pray for your increase in every way.
We win! “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
