Greetings in the name of the One who sets us free, Jesus Christ. Last month’s events make us aware of the times in which we are living. The Islamic terrorist attacks in Orlando, Turkey and Bangladesh remind us what Second Timothy 3:1-5 foretold—people would be ungodly, unloving, and brute beasts. Revelation 9:21 advises us of the increased lack of respect for life and unrepentance by those in the End Times. These days are how God said they would be, yet Jesus tells us not to be troubled:
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. —Matthew 24:6-8
Today we face these sorrows and tribulations in our lives and our world, but not without hope. This is why Bible Prophecy is so important. Jesus uses prophecy to let us know that certain events will take place and how you can handle them—He is not caught off guard. He is right there in you and with you. You will not be forsaken or left abandon. He has made a way of escape and the provision to bear it (I Cor. 10:13).
Remember when Peter walked on water? He was able to do so simply because he believed Jesus’ one word, “Come” (Matt. 14:29). How many more words have we been given to believe? The Bible is full of them. Just like Peter, we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. It wasn’t until Peter looked at the events around him that he began to sink. And still, Jesus was there for him. Seek Jesus and His righteousness FIRST! Focus on the answer and the peace, not the tribulations around you.
The Islamic attack in Orlando was horrifying, and it was meant to strike fear, terror and torment into the hearts of people. When you look at that event through spiritual eyes, it was not simply an Islamic attack, but an attack by antichrists. Islam just happens to be one of the biggest tools that antichrists are using today. In one swoop, the antichrists used Islam to provide a banner of support for sodomy and perversion along with the liberal agenda of gun control and globalism. Please hear me, the support of those people affected by that horrendous act should not be confused here. They all need our support and the message of God’s love tremendously.
What I am saying is that it is important to understand that many are influenced by antichrists and are often victims of their evil plans. The word, “antichrist” describes anything against or anti-God, His Word, Jesus, or His Church. Please pay special attention to the promotion of the antichrists’ agenda: sodomy, abortion, globalism, masking the Islamic issue, and efforts to remove God from all aspects of our nation. These platforms alone should be enough to realize that antichrists are at work.
Our politics are not what they used to be, and you may not be able to rely on the parties of days past. Today we are witnessing End-Time politics. No longer can we say that our politics have no effect on our Christianity. This holds true not only in our country but others. The United Kingdom’s (UK’s) exit from the European Union (EU) is a sign that politics are playing a role in the climaxing of the Ages. The UK took a stand against globalism. Which brings up the question of whether globalism is part of God’s plan or the work of antichrists?
The Brexit (British exit from the EU) plays a significant role in prophesied events. For one, it has a bearing on the ten nations that make up the seventh head (kingdom) of Revelation chapter 17. It also has to do with antichrist spirits preparing the way for the man of sin (the Antichrist). In Revelation 13:7-8, the man of sin is given an assignment from the dragon, that old serpent, who we know to be Satan.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev.13:7-8
The Antichrist fails in this assignment because the one who gives him power and the assignment has no power (Col. 2:15; Rev. 13:4), only deception. The assignment found in Revelation chapter 13 is where the erroneous teaching comes from about the one-world government ruled by the Antichrist. Satan’s attempt to form this one-world government is what we know as “globalism.”
Globalism, or global, is a word we often hear today: the global economy, global warming, global threat. Globalism is an ungodly antichrist philosophy! While it may sound good in theory, we know from Scripture that just because something sounds good, doesn’t mean it is good, unless there is Scripture to back it up. When we ignore what God has said, even in the face of pressure from well-meaning individuals influenced by antichrist spirits, things will not end well:
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Prov. 4:12; 16:25).
God has made His will known when it comes to globalism from the very beginning. Allow me to bring to your remembrance the Tower of Babel. At such time, King Nimrod attempted to set up a one-world government. They began to build a tower that would reach to the heavens and touch God. This displeased God in such a way it caused him to scatter the people abroad over all the earth and confuse their languages, and this is where the term “babbling” derived. They could no longer communicate with one another, and man’s way of reaching God failed, as it always does.
Now the whole earth had one language and one speech . . .Then they said to one another, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, but the Lord came down to see the city . . .the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” —Genesis 11:1-9
When you see the attempt here in Genesis by mankind to reach God in his own way, one should realize that these men were influenced by Satan. Their goals were similar to Lucifer’s in Isaiah and foreshadows the globalization we see today.
For you [Lucifer] have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ —Isaiah 14:13-14
Think with me—Brexit is the UK’s way of turning from the globalist philosophy of the EU, which many politicians hold in high regard. Further, Brexit, the Orlando shooting and Islamic attacks around the world are connected. Radical Islam is considered a global threat. One might say, “Oh, that means we must come together as a global force to defeat the threat.” Not true. These events are influenced by antichrists to promote globalism and prepare for the man of sin and his empire.
Our country is celebrating its 240th year of freedom. This November, we will face a vote for the very thing the UK voted for in June: Globalism or Nationalism. An outstanding example of nationalism would be Israel. God called Abram to leave the land of his fathers and be separated from them. Abram did so believing the Father’s promise to make him a great nation—a nation that would bless the world, not rule it.
Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. —Genesis 12:1-2
The American people voted once before to leave a global empire when we declared our independence from England. It was a godly decision made by godly people. However, the great freedom it provided has allowed antichrists to influence a large populous to believe in the values of globalism.
The United States is a nation that chose God. Our nationalism is steeped in Judeo-Christian values and has made us a blessing to the nations of the world. Psalms 33:12 tells us, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” We continue to be blessed, and we are to be a blessing as we go into all the world and spread the Gospel, providing 90% of world evangelism. (This is a world view we can stand behind!) We continue to be the peacekeepers around the world, and the number one supporter of Israel. Yes, we have some very unrighteous activities that go on here, and we pay the devil’s price for much of it. However, we are still the nation that all peoples of the world seem to want to live.
Events are taking place every day that concern Bible Prophecy, which is why this part of Jesus’ ministry is so important. There are those in the world who are blinded by darkness. Some are even Christians. The Scripture tells us that the prophetic Word shines as a light in the dark places (II Peter 1:19). I want to thank you for helping me bring this light to those in darkness. This is why this ministry is so important in these Last Days. Without your prayers and financial support, it would not be possible. If you currently do not support this ministry in some way, I ask you to seek the Father about doing so.
Your brother in Christ and fellow laborer in the End-Time Harvest.
